Quote of the Day

Robert A. Heinlein said:

“Political tags – such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth – are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.”

These days, it seems to me that ‘progressive’ and ‘liberal’ and, to a lesser extent ‘democrat’ are those who want people to be controlled. That’s why they are trying to ram “health care reform” and “cap and trade” down our throats, in spite of the fact that around 70% of the population is against them.
