Scott Brown, Republican, just won the election for U.S. Senator from Massachusetts, the former seat of Ted Kennedy. Good job! That should send a message to the Democrats.
I almost feel sorry for Obama. Almost. He got elected, and interpreted that as a mandate to implement all his far-left radical ideas (even though he very carefully didn’t tell anyone about them during the campaign).
Now he seems to be discovering the disconnect between what happened and what he thought happened. He thought he had a mandate; but people voted him in, not for his (hidden) beliefs, but mostly because he wasn’t Bush. And, to be sure, some people voted for him because he is black.
Much to his chagrin, it turns out that the great majority of us do not want his far-left radical ideas to be implemented. As is amply demonstrated by the senatorial vote in Massachusetts.
As Gomer used to say – “Sur-prise, sur-prise, sur-prise!”
