Obama vs Palin

Isn’t it just interesting how Obama keeps responding publicly to statements made by Sarah Palin? In his speech to the joint Congress last night, he clearly addressed several issues she had brought up, in a way that made it clear that he was targeting her. It’s like he can’t help himself.

It’s fascinating to me that Obama has problems with individuals that he feels he has to respond to. Notably, Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh. I don’t believe I have ever seen any sitting president respond to individual critics in this way.

Palin made this response to Obama’s speech. She cuts him to ribbons – because she uses facts and logic, instead of oratory. It’s worth reading.

Obama and the democrats have to use oratory – because they know that they can’t defend their programs with logic and numbers. Also, they seem to consistently underestimate the citizens of the United States, the majority of whom are now on to them. When they lie and misrepresent, as Obama did last night, we can see it. See my previous post for some of the things Obama misrepresented.

Footnote: I should probably remind readers at this point to check out my Comment Moderation Policy accessible through the tab at the top of the page.

Those whose idea of discourse involves name calling might as well not bother…

On the other hand, if you desire to politely debate, using logic and facts, I’ll be more than happy to post your comments.
