What’s The Hurry?

I heard a reporter on TV last night, talking about the health care bill, say that congress needs to act “before it’s too late.”

“Before it’s too late.” For what? What’s the hurry?

Like every other bill this administration has passed, Obama wants us to think this is an emergency. The reason for this is that he knows the more time we have to think about it and examine these voluminous bills, the less likely that they will pass. They don’t want us to read the fine print.

I hate being pushed.

They pushed the stimulus through that way. Very few that voted on it had EVEN READ IT IN ITS ENTIRETY.

This is the same thing. If we look at it carefully, people will run away fast from it.
